Too little, too late, guys
Aug. 21st, 2003 01:56 pmOne of the managers just dropped by to present me with my "Incentive Program Certificate". This their version of stock options--I'm getting shares in future contract award fees. Currently they're worth eleven cents, but if I stay another five years it'll go all the way up to $900. Thanks to that engineering economics course I can say that's worth $558 today. That's a nice incentive to stick around for five years, right?
Meanwhile, if the company I've been talking to gets its paperwork shuffled well enough I may be able to give notice tomorrow. Nothing personal, Joe, you were just outbid . . .
