Recognition

I'm still getting co-workers coming up to me and saying they have a hard time recognizing me without the beard. Which is a bit amusing given that I grew it after starting to work here. I can't blame them. Mirrors were a bit of a shock to me for a week or so.

When I met my husband, he was bearded. We were in a play in which he played an old man, so they put white stuff in it and in his hair. Anyhow, between the last show and the subsequent party, he shaved it off. The folks manning the door of the party didn't recognize him, until he demanded to be let in, using his "old man" voice. Friends who'd known him prior to the current beard, just commented that they could see makeup upset his skin too (they didn't notice the lack of beard). It was really funny.

He's currently beardless. I prefer the beard! :)
