"Kate, how are you doing?" Lanie asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, Lanie. I guess you heard." In the background a male voice called out 'What kind of cheese do you want in your omelet?'
"Yeah, I couldn't--wait. Kate, is that Castle?"
"Um . . ."
"Is that Castle making breakfast?"
"Um . . ."
"Girl, you call me when you don't have anything better to do." Lanie hung up and rolled over. "Javi, what is it about cops and administrative leave?"
