celticdragonfly and I get into odd technical discussions sometimes. Last night she was making me explain the physics of bullet-proof vests. I naturally put in some simplifying assumptions to make it easier for me to describe things and she promptly teased me with the joke about physicists and the spherical cow. The conversation continued like this:
