This isn't a "gratuitous" icon post, because it's the first warning to my mom and in-laws that I'm growing a beard. So, maggieallen, bkseiver, and phoenixsinger, be warned, it looks like it's going to stay for a while.

Actually, no. Not my first warning. I believe I first saw your beard featured in celticdragonfly's new favorite icon. For a moment, I said to myself, "Wow, is that selenite? When did this happen?"

Then, I recognized my brother-in-law again. :)

The first time I saw him with it, I completely didn't recognize him. He waved from the window of the van, and I kind of smiled back vaguely before it hit..."Hey, I know that cute guy!"
