I doubt you know me, not from this LJ anyway. Maybe from my [livejournal.com profile] o_2opine_o, my 'harder' lj. But I've seen you, both as this LJ and your Libertarian Hawk one. I know your views.

I've got a thread going, which is advising me [and this country] to 'learn about other cultures.' Mmmmm yeah, I agree with the basic premise. But right now, I know enough about Radical Islam, and its aims. I'm not into stopping and 'learning.'

I know what I think. But I'm not all that eloquent. I'm blatantly asking those who are more eloquent, for help. Being 70 and female, doesn't make for forceful comebacks. :-( Please and thank you.

Looking at your exchange, I think the commenter's "learn about other cultures" translates as "admit America's culture is inferior to all possible others, and all American actions are morally wrong". He's a troll. Best move might be to just screen his comment.

Answering him will just produce more soundbites from the leftie playbook. That can be fun if you enjoy jousting with someone who won't admit any errors, but I'm too damn tired for any more of that.

Agreed. And I'm a hell of a lot older than you are! ,-)

I've quit the game, with him. He likes to 'poke,' methinks. :-(
