15. One weird fact: my glasses were always too weak because, when I was 2 my Mom told me to "try really hard" at the eye doctors; I always starred at the eye chart, so the lenses were insufficient. Found out in college you're just supposed to look at the chart normally! Oh, well!

2. What was your dream growing up?
I really don't remember. I do remember spending quite a lot of time at Mom's workplace, daydreaming about swimming with the dolphins in the sea and feeding the world with kelp. But that wasn't career planning so much as a reflection of mom's then-obsession with a short lived tv show called man From Atlantis starring Patrick Duffy and the simple fact of where we lived adn where she worked.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
music. Any.
4. Favorite place?
Ft. Worth Japanese garden is my current happy place, my take a deep breath and close my eyes and let whatever has me overwhelmed ebb back, place. There's a picnic area in Sequoia National Forest that I visited as a child. That's my big gun happy place, for with the Ft. Worth gardens aren't enough.
5. Favorite vegetable?
Yes please. With butter. (anything but okra)
6. What was the last book you read?
Something by Dr. Suess. Oh, you mean for myself? The verizon phone handbook. Oh fiction? Lemme think about it. I've got the new(ish) Eco sitting beside the bed, but haven't picked it up yet. Oh Wait, the second of the Weather Warden trilogy, Heat Wave.

I'm a D width shoe size, essentially I have a man-shaped foot, not the slender delicate one that womens's shoes are designed for.

The boy has two geckos, but Himself is allergic to cats and I'm really not a dog person, so we've been putting off bringing anyone into the family, hoping that Bear will fall in love and make the decision easier.
