We found a nice house in the school district that has the best autism program. Small bedrooms for the kids, big common rooms for the whole family. Grassy backyard with no toddler traps. The olive drab paint in the master bedroom has to go, but the "Return With Honor" inscription over the front door stays. Needs some more touch-ups, too.

The owners have already moved out and just dropped the price $15k. So we offered them a bit more than their asking price if they'll fix the paint.

And they said yes. Wow. Whee. It's actually going to happen.

Now we just have to get the paperwork done and furniture moved in before Laura goes into labor . . . .

Just make sure you specify *what* colour you want the paint to be. Oh well, could have been worse, they could have gone all out with a full MilSpec camo pattern on the walls....
