Election Day

Texas is having primary elections today. The presidential races are settled so even if I cast a protest vote the count would be on page B17. The other primaries are for judges and utilities commissioners so I'd need months or years of following local news closely to figure out who these people are and what issues matter. Oh, and somebody's running Constable in my local district. I haven't even figured out what a constable is here--it's not another name for county sherrif, we've got one of those. Seems to be a process server who can issue tickets.

Heck with it. I'm too ignorant to vote today.
