Seasons, Right

Fall has definitely arrived here in Texas. I realized that yesterday leaving work in my short-sleeve shirt as the rain poured down. Usually the 8-10 minute walk to my car is just a little tedious, this time it was so cold I was shivering. Fortunately Laura found my jacket so walking in through the rain this morning was just unpleasant rather than horrible.

I know I can get used to this, it's nothing compared to what I dealt with in Nebraska. But losing the Los Angeles habits are going to take a while.

The weather's not that bad, really - we've just gotten out of the habit of checking forecasts & so were not prepared for it. I especially have to start doing that for Brendan's school clothes.

Sorry you got rained on again this morning. It had stopped here before I went out. Perhaps we need to buy more umbrellas and keep 'em in the cars.
