I hadn't paid much attention to Google Buzz, I'm on more social sites than I can maintain at this point anyway. So I was bothered to find that it automatically dips into my email history and makes connections with people. Fortunately archangelbeth posted a link to how to turn off Buzz for real. Thanks, Beth!

Andrew had that same complaint, and I have trouble understanding it. Since I'm considering replacing facebook with this, it saved me the trouble of going through my 1000+ contacts list and adding people. I just delete people I don't actually know that well as they come up.

It's more a case of not wanting to take the time to learn how to manage yet another interface so I can keep separate family, TXSG, classes, OKC, gaming, etc., etc. groups. Plus a bit of not wanting to encourage bad corporate manners (ie, dumping everyone in set at full access).
