Kerry-McCain?

Sen. McCain said he'd entertain being Kerry's Veep. Then he said "It's impossible to imagine the Democratic Party seeking a pro-life, free-trading, non-protectionist, deficit hawk. They'd have to be taking some steroids, I think, in order to let that happen."

Guess not.

Sigh. Is voting for someone so much to ask?

I'd vote for that ticket. I think Clark would be more likely a choice though, (granted, I like Clark for many of the same reasons I liked McCain. YMMV). Problem I see with that is that McCain would pretty much have to switch parties to even be considered a VP - and even as marginallized as the NeoCons in the GOP have made him, he's too much of a GOP loyalist.

I could see McCain getting a cabinet-level post in a Kerry administration though.
