This is particularly funny since I first thought it said Egg Harbor, NJ--and I lived there when I was a teenager. But Little Egg Harbor is a good 22 miles from Egg Harbor--and should not be confused with Egg Harbor Township, which is nowhere near either one.

Maybe I'm humor-impaired. If, say, a janitor had been killed or injured, would it have been as amusing? Maybe even more so?

There's a classic Calvin & Hobbes sunday strip where he imagines blowing up his school as a jet pilot. Finally the daydream ends and he has to get off the bus and go into school. The news story reminded me of it. Injuries would've eliminated the humor, yes. But I suspect that pilot is going to have copies of that strip in every ready room he works for the rest of his career.
