Old Man's War was website pubbed, then picked up by a big house. They did Hugo eligibility from the house publication. The Martian had a similar beginning, may have also been sold as an ebook at some point before being picked up. So the committee may rule by that. Or they can say it's the contract that counts.

I haven't seen any Person of Interest episodes. Which one would you recommend for the nomination, and are there any prior eps I should watch to understand it?
